Ashley Makue is a South African writer and spoken word artist. She is the Current State of Poetry (CSP) slam champion for the Western Cape. She is studying towards a BA degree in Languages and Literature. She writes for AfroElle Magazine and is passionate about Afrocentrism and art. Her chap book, I Know how to Fix Myself was published in 2017.
