Anjali Joseph’s, first novel, Saraswati Park, won the Desmond Elliott and Betty Trask Prizes and India’s Vodafone Crossword Book Award for Fiction. Another Country, her second novel, appeared in June 2012. She was born in Bombay and currently lives in the UK.
